Required Skills:
Bachelor's Degree required - Food Science, Biology, Chemistry degrees ideal - has experience with testing techniques and lab processes.
Entry level - 0-2 years' experience - can be just graduated or has worked onsite at pharma or food lab.
Lab experience - college lab courses - Biology, Chemistry, Food or Microbiology lab classes - where they learn the proper techniques and know their way around a lab.
Project Description:
The Snacks Division of the Client's Quality Assurance is seeking a Lab Coordinator to support the commercialization of new foods products and on-going quality assessments of current products, including analytical testing and product reviews.
This is a critical supporting role in which you will partner with Business Quality managers to collaborate on experimental objectives and tests to support the premium quality of our brands.
You'll get to work with a highly engaged, collaborative team that maintains and develops well-known brands, bringing new generations of consumer products from concept to reality.
Analytical Testing organizing and conducting quality tests. These include, but are not limited to salt, moisture, texture, and breakage studies. Provide data in a thorough, clear, and timely manner, as the results will be critical to drive decisions.
Product Reviews assist in daily product reviews with organizing inventory, meeting set-up, note and picture taking and clean-up.
Support New Commercialization and Consumer Complaint Reductions will support tests and quality initiatives, as needed on all of the Client's Snack brands.
Lab management -- ensuring the lab is compliant, maintained and stocked with necessary solutions and materials.
Ensure that products perform correctly. Perform tests on manufactured products.
Assemble, Calibrate, Improve and Maintain equipment.
Give reports on defects.
This 4+ month position starts ASAP may be extended into FY '24.
