Hybrid Work Schedule: 2 Days Per Week Onsite, 3 Days WFH Required Skills:
Undergraduate Business or Communications Degree.
5-8 years in a brand management role, ideally within large CPG organizations.
Previous experience within beverage alcohol or similar highly regulated industry.
Experience working directly with - or at - communications agencies an asset.
Experience managing, mentoring and developing team members.
Leadership:
Be the portfolio's #1 cheerleader, driving excitement and energy to support the brands.
Always explore and create new possibilities and get excited about testing-and-learning different models and approaches on these brands.
Be inspired and inspired about what we do understanding consumers and building brands for the future.
Sweat execution is key PowerPoint slides and concepts alone do not make their way to the consumer.
Maintain positive outlook amidst challenges and effectively problem-solve and make decisions.

Strategy:
Have a vision for this portfolio, understanding what its role is and where it can go within the broader Beer category.
Have experience with shaping brand architecture and portfolio management.
Previous experience developing brand strategy and MBP. (Marketing Business Plans)
Ability to clearly define a brand's role, positioning, purpose, and consumer target.
Thorough understanding of all Diageo data inputs, demonstrating an ability to triangulate that into simple, clear, and effective actions.
Ability to manage multiple projects effectively, prioritize and drive to action.
Creative:
Experience in developing effective creative communications and programs (ATL + BTL) across brand platforms.
Demonstrate consumer insight and achieve creative excellence and effective marketing programs.
Media:
Experience managing media budgets; always curious about finding new ways to connect in-culture and drive high return on investment.
Commercial:
Strong commercial skill with ability to enroll and motivate regional commercial/customer partners.
Experience leading the analysis of business results, highlighting clear implications and recommendations.
Have a passion for the commercial side of the business understanding motivations for the trade and staying up to date on drinks culture.
Manage People for Success:
Highly skilled relationship builder and influencer.
Effectively motivate and lead junior teammates and cross-functional teammates to produce exceptional work.
Project Description:
Manage the Guinness portfolio at the Client's company to exceed business goals, create industry-leading marketing campaigns and recruit the next generation of consumers that represent the cultural make-up of America into our brands.
Lead strategy planning and brand marketing plans, develop a category view of Beer in a way that advances the Client's participation in this dynamic and evolving category, Champion the Guinness long-term brand strategy and marketing business plans based on consumer, customer, and shopper insight, leading cross-functional agency teams to deliver best-in-class integrated marketing plans, and driving exceptional growth drivers and activities from media to trade to experiential.
Being passionate and advocating for the success of this portfolio, both internally as well as commercially, to drive focus on these up-and-coming brands with key partners.
Working with the innovation team to develop new innovations and formats that will drive sustainable long-term growth.
Managing the liquid forecasting process.
Being performance obsessed, understanding the nuances of each business to intervene and adapt plans quickly if needed.
Understanding how to relevantly connect the brands in culture and with their consumer cohorts.
Partner effectively with Innovation, Customer/Shopper Marketing, Commercial and cross-functional partners.
This 6+ month position starts ASAP.
