Job Description
JUNIOR TAX ANALYST
NORTH CHICAGO, IL
Hybrid.
The pay ranges between $28 - $30.43 per hour.
Project Description:
- Reporting to the Indirect Tax Manager.
- Preparing business license renewals and applications.
- Gather data requested by business license compliance provider.
- Setting up customer sales tax exemption certificates in Vertex.
- Other ad hoc tax related tasks.
Required Skills:
- Degree Optional but is preferred with Tax/Accounting related, two years' experience in related work.
- Any tax related experience.
- Business License Applications/Renewal work they may have done.
- Tax across states would helpful.
- Strong experience with Microsoft Office products such as Excel and Word.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Possess excellent organizational skills, effective time management, and attention to detail.
- Preferred Knowledge and Skills:
- Familiarity with multistate sales/use tax laws, regulations, and processes.
- Experience with tax compliance software including Vertex or comparable programs.
- Business license preparation experience.
This 2+ month position starts ASAP.
