PROGRAM MANAGER
CAMDEN, NJ  
75% REMOTE
25% TRAVEL to the 23 plant sites or to HQ
 
General knowledge of supply chain best practices, including:
  • Planning, forecasting and replenishment.
  • Commercialization and stage gate.
  • Manufacturing and lean process improvement.
 
Technical mastery in Project Management, PMP and MBA preferred.
 
The pay for this position ranges from $115 to $127 per hour.
 
Required Skills: 
  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • Min of 15 years in senior Supply Chain cross-functional roles, including planning, manufacturing, engineering, commercialization, and project management,
  • Planning, forecasting and replenishment.
  • Commercialization and stage gate.
  • Manufacturing and lean process improvement.
  • Engineering and capital project execution.
  • Strategic planning and network optimization.
  • Gross margin, total delivered cost, and cash optimization
  • 5+ years of experience leading cross-functional projects.
  • 5+ years preferred in the supply chain space (Commercialization, Engineering, Quality, Environmental Health and Safety, Procurement, other)
  • Proficiency in communication and influencing skills. Experience and ability to influence Sr Leadership.
  • Possess business and financial acumen.
  • Experience managing projects with Capital investments.
  • Experience with food manufacturing systems and processes, with an understanding of planning and logistics, engineering, quality assurance, and food safety.
  • Experience leading multi-functional teams.
  • Experience with risk management tools and contingency planning.
 
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Certifications: Technical mastery in project management, PMP and MBA preferred.
  • Successful leadership of enterprise-wide transformational initiatives:
  • Ability to organize, prioritize, and execute large scale efforts and competing interests.
  • Deals well in ambiguous situations or in environments when not all facts are available.
  • Works to simplify and optimize processes to ensure quality execution.
  • Has the capacity to innovate and adapt, balance structure & flexibility, driving execution while anticipating change.
  • Excellent stakeholder and change management.
  • Significant cross-functional partnerships to lead teams including Marketing, Sales, R&D, and within Supply Chain including Demand and Supply Planning, Procurement, Manufacturing, Commercialization, Quality, Engineering, Logistics and Customer Supply Chain.
 
Project Description: 
  • The Program Manager is responsible for leading the initiation, planning, tracking, execution, and delivery of major strategic multifunctional initiatives and complex mulit-faceted projects/programs with defined deliverables following a standard work process.
  • This role is responsible for end-to-end execution of projects/programs through leadership of enterprise cross-functional teams towards the achievement of defined business objectives.
  • These cross-functional teams may include different roles within the supply chain as well as partnering functions as R&D, Marketing, IT, HR and other.
  • (15%) Develop multifunctional project/program charters, including scope, out of scope, interdependencies, benefits, approach, high level risks and key assumptions ensuring key stakeholder alignment.
  • (35%) Develop project/program governance, identify and obtain resources needed (people, money/budget, time), Assemble and lead a cross functional team, with clear objectives for each team member.
  • Create detailed work plans and timelines, adapt strategic goals into executable steps, identify and sequence activities needed to successfully implement the programs.
  • Develop communication plan with escalation triggers to key stakeholders.
  • (40%) Integrate program efforts, continuously assess and refine approaches and plans to deliver objectives, address conflicting and changing priorities (looking at end to end business);serve as the implementation arm of the program sponsor and/or steering committee.
  • Manage risk mitigation and escalation.
  • (10%) Responsible for project/program closure, develop lessons learned, develop template/tools for future implementation of similar project/programs and confirming benefits have or will be met.
  • Manage project financials when applicable to ensure objectives are achieved. Ensure all program information is appropriately documented and managed.
  • Ability to manage complex relationships across the organization.
  • Ability to create direction by positively influencing without authority to achieve results that are aligned with the business strategy.
  • Effectively utilizes project management tools to initiate, plan, execute, control and close projects and programs.
  • Proficient in stakeholder management and communications across the enterprise while managing risk and complexity to deliver the scope, timeline and budget.
  • Ability to drive decision making while working issues to resolution or escalating as appropriate.
  • Ability to execute with excellence by setting priorities, managing against a timeline and objectives, communicating effectively, and verifying standard compliance.
  • Ability to understand intersections and impact of program on other programs, end to end supply chain and overall company.
