PROJECT ADMINISTRATOR CAMDEN, NJ 6 months +.
Fully Remote. Candidate - might need to travel occasionally as needed.
Project Description:
Assists the Project or Program Manager in administering the financial, time and resource requirements of the project.
Works with the Program Manager and individual Project Managers to track and report on the actual spending of project budget.
Collects input from the Project Manager and works with the Program Manager to update the Program financial forecast each month for reporting to finance & leadership.
Collaborates with Project Managers to ensure forecasted spend accuracy and that all invoices are presented & processed on time.
Assists Project Managers & leadership by facilitating the creation & approval of Statements of Work, Purchase Requisitions and Purchase orders.
In collaboration with the Program Manager & Project Managers, establishes & maintains an overall plan for the execution of all projects in the program.
Under the guidance of the Program Manager maintains registers of the key risks, issues, scope changes, interdependencies, key decisions, and constraints that will impact the overall program.
Works with Project Managers to ensure all risks, issues, scope changes, interdependencies, key decisions, and constraints are recorded and that plans are in place & executed to mitigate these items.
With assistance from the Program Manager, leads sub-project initiatives from initiation through to completion ensuring they are delivered within the time, cost & quality constraints of the Project or Program including reporting on the status of these initiatives.
Assists in the day-to-day management and administration of the Program.
Required Skills:
Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, or related field.
5 or more years of experience in IT and business/industry.
Post graduate certification in Project Management, bachelor's degree specialization in Project Management or at least 2 years' experience working as part of the Project Management Team on large & complex cross-functional projects.
Knowledge of PMI's project management methodology and best practices.
Familiarity with the use of Microsoft Project.
Working knowledge of using SAP for project related processes including procurement, capital management and reporting.
Exceptional interpersonal skills, including teamwork, facilitation, and negotiation.
Excellent analytical skills.
Attention to detail.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Excellent planning and organizational skills.
Basic knowledge of financial models and budgeting.
Thorough knowledge of using Microsoft Office products (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and SharePoint.
Optionally, familiarity with Microsoft Visio.
This 24+month position starts ASAP.
