SPOTFIRE DEVELOPER CLINICAL/MEDIDATA EXP. REQUIRED WEST CHESTER, PA
Role would start out virtual but should be local to the site .
Project Description:
The Spotfire Developer is responsible for developing visualizations using Spotfire to enable consumers to explore real world clinical data. The developer will interface with technical and non-technical people to gather requirements, present visualizations, author documents and perform certain validation activities.
Contributes to the overall design and scope of the Spotfire capabilities.
Develops, validates and maintains Spotfire visualizations and dashboards.
Utilizes the RAVE Data Connector to gain access to the CRF and Operational data.
Supports collaboration, communication, coordination and prioritization within the department, working in conjunction with other functional leads.
Participates and contributes to local and global departmental activities, projects and tasks, in close collaboration with Central Services.
Represents Systems and Infrastructure, and facilitates project-related integration with other groups, notably Clinical Operations, Clinical Programming, Statistics, CQA and Regulatory.
Helps to develop and to enforce Clinical Trial Data Sciences standard guidelines and procedures.
Initiates and leads new processes, new methodologies and operational ideas and re-challenges existing ones to improve the services provided, including quality, effectiveness, efficiency and turn- around times.
Acquires knowledge related to drug development, clinical trials methodology, and applies the relevant information in recommending changes in Central Services to better satisfy business requirements.

Required Skills:
More than 4 years of professional experience. Bachelor's Degree or higher, or equivalent amount of combined educational and work experience is required.
Exceptional candidates may be considered with fewer years depending on experience and education.
Strong and effective oral and written communication skills and interpersonal skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects independently.
Ability to work in a virtual, global and multi-cultural environment.
2+ years' experience developing visualizations and dashboards in Spotfire.
Experience creating complex Spotfire visualizations and dashboards incorporating JavaScript, tailored user options such as property controls and customized formulas and interfaces using IronPython.
Extensive knowledge and demonstrated experience with CDISC/CDASH/SDTM/Controlled Terminology and experience with implementation.
Knowledge and demonstrated experience with the Medidata RAVE Data Connector.
Good Information Technologies orientation.
Professional accuracy, integrity, dedication and motivation.
Clinical data experience strongly preferred.
