As a Quality Assurance Manager on the ICS QA team, you are expected to have industry-leading technical abilities that enable you to significantly improve product quality. You should have a combination of solid in-depth knowledge of Quality Assurance, scripting language skills, as well as knowledge of object-oriented design principles. The test software you will build should expose pre-production deployed code defects at the feature integration level.

Responsibilities
Provide leadership and oversight for a technology team of QA Analysts and Engineers through the SDLC process, guiding test planning, test execution, scheduling, resourcing and reporting.
Create engineering and operational perfection, establishing metrics and process for assessment and improvements.
Lead the team to perform all levels of test including functional, system/integration, load/performance and automated regression testing.
Point of contact and liaison with all technology stakeholders to ensure streamlined processes to release new enhancements with high quality and on a timely basis.
Help define and establish QE processes ensure product quality by implementing objective measurements to supervise improvements in defect removal rates.
Develop standardized and documented test plans, test cases, and procedures to improve quality, efficiency, and effectiveness.
Recommend adjustments, corrections or changes that improve and/or simplify the overall processing or accuracy of the products produced documents systems and review steps for redundancies.
Manage and maintain testing environment and all applicable 3rd Party Test tool licenses.
Partner with developers, business analysts and other members of QA team to influence early testability guidelines, ensure proper test coverage and overall system reliability, performance, and quality to better utilize a " shift left” quality philosophy.

Provide performance management to direct reports including: Coaching/training, performance reviews, team building activities, vision and values.

Hands on testing as well as managing the team and its daily responsibilities and projects.
Define timetables and project plans; analyzes and estimates feasibility, cost, time, and effort to provide QA for highly complex application systems.
Basic Qualifications
5+ years of experience as a software developer, QA Engineer, or SDET.
5+ years of hands-on experience with Java or Selenium.
4+ years designing, implementing, and running test cases.
4+ years working with test processes, methodologies, tools, and technology.
4+ years performing functional and UI testing, quality reporting.
3+ years of technical QA management experience leading on and offshore resources.
Passion around driving best practices in the testing space.
Thorough understanding of Functional, Stress, Performance, various forms of regression testing and mobile testing.
Knowledge of software engineering practices and agile approaches.
Experience building or improving test automation frameworks.
Proficiency CICD integration and pipeline development in Jenkins, Spinnaker or other similar tools.
Proficiency in UI automation (Serenity/Selenium, Robot, Watir).
Experience in Gherkin (BDD /TDD).
Ability to quickly tackle and diagnose issues within the quality assurance environment and communicate that knowledge to a varied audience of technical and non-technical partners.
Strong desire for establishing and improving product quality.
Willingness to take challenges head on while being part of a team.
Preferred Qualifications
Ability to work under tight deadlines and within a team environment.
Experience in test automation using UFT and Selenium.
UFT/Selenium experience in building object repositories, standard & custom checkpoints, parameterization, reusable functions, recovery scenarios, descriptive programming and API testing.
Knowledge of VBScript, C#, Java, HTML, and SQL.
Experience using GIT or other Version Control Systems.
Experience developing, supporting, and/or testing web applications.
Understanding of the need for testing of security requirements.
Ability to understand API – JSON and XML formats with experience using API testing tools like Postman, Swagger or SoapUI.
Excellent communication, collaboration, reporting, analytical and problem-solving skills.
Solid understanding of Release Cycle and QA /testing methodologies
