WRITER/STORYTELLER FOR CORPORATE COMMUNICATIONS (REMOTE) Contractor role for someone with a recent journalism degree and 1-2 years of writing experience.
Required Skills:
Four-year degree in Journalism and/or Communications .
1-3 years of experience after college, maybe up to 5 years of experience.
1-2 years of writing experience with good writing samples .
Working knowledge of AP Style, Proofreading.
Creative and flexible thinker, ideally with storytelling experience .
Ability to work with a wide range of people across the globe.
Project Description:
Opportunity to work as part of a large team, and learn corporate communications, storytelling, photojournalism and visual literacy from a high performing, collaborative communications team.
The writer will work with a Story Studio team of writers, handling story assignments.
Interviewing internal and external subject matter experts.
Drafting compelling corporate stories, sidebars, and listicles.
Proofreading stories and other content to meet AP Style and company standards.
Collaborating to create story ideas.
Working with photographers and designers.
Updating editorial calendar.
This 12+ month position starts ASAP.
